At Bikes & Music, the mission is simple yet transformative: Bringing Music and Motion to Chicagoland Youth. By collecting and refurbishing gently used bicycles and musical instruments, this organization is creating opportunities for underserved children to explore the joys of cycling and music, fostering physical health, creativity, and social connections.

This December, Bikes & Music is gearing up for one of its biggest donation drives of the year, and you’re invited to be part of the movement. Mark your calendar for Friday, December 13th, from 1–3 PM at the Palatine Senior Center, 505 S Quentin Rd, Palatine, IL.

About Bikes & Music

Bikes & Music isn’t just about bikes and instruments—it’s about creating access and equity for Chicagoland’s underserved youth. Here’s what they do:

• Collect and Refurbish Donations: Gently used bicycles and musical instruments are carefully repaired and restored to ensure they’re safe and ready for use.
• Distribute to Those in Need: Through partnerships with local organizations, these items are placed directly in the hands of children and families who might not otherwise have access to them.

This year, the organization has already made an impressive impact, donating 354 bikes to children and families across the area. Every donation counts, and every contribution helps bring joy and opportunity to a child in need!
